Kushi-age: Japanese deep-fried kebab

  “Kushi-age” (くしあげ, 串揚げ) is Japanese deep-fried Kebab. In Japanese, “Kushi” (くし, 串) means skewers (mainly made of bamboo) and “Age” (あげ, 揚げ) means “deep-fried”.
